WEM went 6-0 at their home tourney to claim the championship! WEM didn’t lose a set all day beating St. Clair, Mankato Loyola, Grand Meadow, Minnesota Valley Lutheran, Cleveland, and St. James all 2-0. Congratulations girls!

The WEM varsity team strengthened their team bond while camping in Two Harbors for two days before their team camp at UMD. The girls enjoyed their time at Gooseberry Falls, Iona Beach, Lake Superior and Burlington Bay Campground.

WEM won the 21 team UMD Team Camp Tourney. WEM went undefeated through the tournament. In the finals WEM beat a tough Osceola team 2-1 to win the championship!

Thank you to everyone for their commitment to the WEM JO volleyball program this season. I saw improvement from all our teams and I hope the girls enjoyed their seasons. Reminder there is an end of the season bowling party for all the teams Sunday, April 26th 6-7:30pm at Hoot Lanes in Waterville. Please turn in uniforms at the party or to Coach Lamont at school. WEM 17’s won the 20 team LeSueur-Henderson Tournament on Sunday, March 22.
In pool play WEM beat The Blaze 2-0, St. Peter 2-0, and Triton 2-0.
In the gold bracket playoff WEM beat Tri-City United 2-0 (25-12, 25-12), Warrior Volleyball Club 18’s 2-0 (25-20, 25-11), and Lake Mills, Iowa 2-0 (25-15, 25-23) to win the championship match.
