The WEM varsity team met one of their season goals of 20 wins with their victory on the road in Blooming Prairie on October 10, 2013. The got to celebrate with a pasta party!

The first annual 8th grade Lori Hiller Memorial Tourney was a huge success. During the tournament the WEM volleyball program honored Lori Hiller’s memory and provided flowers to her family. Eight teams competed in the tourney. WEM beat Cleveland 2-0 in the championship match. Lori would have been proud of all the participants and the effort and sportsmanship they displayed!

The WEM 8th grade volleyball team won the first annual Lori Hiller Memorial Volleyball Tournament. The team went undefeated in their pool. They beat Cleveland 2-0 in the championship match. Nice job girls!

The WEM varsity volleyball team is 14-4 overall and 3-1 (2nd place) in the conference. The girls finished off a busy September with two wins during homecoming week. The team has put themselves in position to reach their pre-season goals of 20 plus wins and a top 2 conference finish. Our next match is a conference match against NRHEG on Thursday, October 3rd. The Buccaneers hope to avenge their early season loss to the Panthers.

The WEM volleyball team finished 2nd at the Kenyon-Wanamingo Volleyball Tourney. WEM won their pool by going 3-0. WEM beat Pine Island 2-0 (25-20, 25-23), Randolph 2-0(25-11, 25-20), and St. Paul Harding 2-0 (25-16,25-7). WEM lost the championship match to Kenyon-Wanamingo 0-2 (21-25, 14-25).
