WEM finished in 5th place at the Class A Showcase Tourney. WEM went 4-2 at the tourney. In pool play WEM beat Kimball 2-0 (25-19, 25-19), beat Canby 2-1 (25-22, 27-29), and lost to Heritage Christian Academy 1-2 (21-25, 26-24). This advanced WEM to the Gold Bracket. WEM lost to Minneota the first round 0-2 (17-25, 20-25). WEM rebounded to win the next match versus Verndale 2-0 (30-28, 25-20). In the 5th place match WEM beat Underwood 2-1 (25-21, 20-25, 15-12). WEM is currently 16-3 and rated #5 in Class A.
